We carry out almost all our assignments with this drone because of its high versatility, stability, and safety. With this drone, we use the DJI Zenmuse H30T, which allows us to record both normal and infrared images.
Safety
Should an emergency landing be necessary, for example, due to engine failure, control of the drone can be maintained with just three propellers. The extra-wide FPV range allows you to clearly monitor the surroundings. Furthermore, the ADS-B receiver enhances airspace safety by providing the operator with real-time information about aircraft and helicopters equipped with an ADS-B transponder within a 20 km radius.
The Matrice 300 series has a maximum transmission range of 15 km and features 1080p HD video transmission. The device also features triple video channel support. This allows it to receive and switch between three simultaneous video streams (for example, the FPV camera and two payloads) on the remote. This also allows customers to view the inspection in real time, including infrared images. This allows them to make important decisions directly on-site.
Due to winter conditions Droones was unable to inspect the two remaining wind farms in Norway. Since the snow has melted and the forecasts were favorable, it was decided to travel two weeks ago to the Hamnefjell wind farm in the far north of Norway, approximately 3000 kilometers away.

More aboutDroones Aerial Works started working with TOPseven's Lightning Protection Measurement System Three Components. One Inspection Sequence. BEAT is designed around a single operational logic: mount, calibrate, fly, measure, review. Three Signal Generators inject the test signal at the blade roots. The drone-mounted Field Sensor handles calibration, measurement, and communication during flight. The onboard calibration camera eliminates the need for a separate calibration flight — reducing setup time and getting teams into the inspection sooner.
More aboutDroones Aerial Works on the road for blade Inspections in Norway. Droones Aerial Works is currently on the road with two teams to perform blade inspections in large parts of Norway. The weather conditions and rugged terrain make the project a true challenge. The images shows a V136 turbine from the Gulleslettene wind farm in Florø, above Bergen along the Norwegian fjords.
